NTUODAC Main Comm Trip

NTU ODAC started the initiation with a trip to Gunung Datuk! Our first trip as a comm, a new start! A new ODAC!
Led by Eugene (our head guide n head chef), thanks for everything....the experience, the knowledge and the food.

The perfect trip started off with a mad dash for the train only to realize that the train was late...well...like DUH! its the KTM!

And after approximately 5hrs sittin in the train, 2hrs of trekkin and a couple of rest stops....tadaa!! our camp site!

The trek was good but the view was Abso-freaking-lutely WONDERFUL! With a small flash of a camera...everybody transformed into a dark, evil and ugly looking creature; a camera whore! CK made a great 'HEROIC' pose, but check out the actual shot on the bottom right. POSER!

A little obstacle we had to overcome before reaching the top. (Bottom Right) A view from the top.

A great pose to complete the picture.

The sunset was wonderful.

After the sun sets, we retreat to our fuzzy little family gathering and cook a delicious pineapple and chicken rice. Althou the food was just average, but the experience and the feeling was just wonderful.

And of course, every committee is never complete without a slacker. Well here is a pic of a very helpful sumone who didnt help alot but was kind enuf to help with the food. THANKS! Hahaha...jkjk.

The day after: We had "Roti Prata" and a little tiny star shape hashbrown for breakfast dat didn't really taste good. And we had japanese curry to go with the "prata".

Did u noe dat at 1800m above sea level...ntuc garlic bread tasted superb!?

After the breakfast we pack our things and had a little briefing.
VP gave a little debrief and shared sum trekking tips.

2 hrs of trekking down and 15 mins of a taxi ride later....... we ended up at pizza hut! Nuthin like a good meal to complete the trip!

A game of bridge helps to pass the time.

It was another mad rush for the train station and like before! the train was late.....5 whole hrs! So what did we do? Charades! Take a good look at the picture at the bottom ....that white little dot there, thats a CAT! Yup, a cat under the train!

We had another debriefing in the train...we head back to Singapore and ...the end!

Well...not quite...here is the wall of FAME...i meant...SHAME!

Hehe...THE END!
